A new type of condoms has been developed, it’s said, by scientists and it’s not going to be as easy to use as a normal condom.
Phillips engineers say they’ve developed a new kind of condom, which is said to be easier to use than a regular condom.
The new condom, known as Phillip 66, is said by the researchers to be “a little more rugged” and “a bit less flimsy” than a standard condom, but the researchers say it will be more secure than standard condoms.
They say the new condom is the “only available type” of condom that can protect against HIV transmission.
The researchers said the condom is less likely to come into contact with semen, and its shape has been designed to help it stay on skin and not get caught on objects.
The condom, made from a polyurethane material, is meant to last at least six months, researchers say.
The University of Michigan’s medical school also collaborated with the research team to develop the new condoms.
Researchers are currently developing prototypes of the new product.
The study was published in the Journal of Medical Virology.
